On July 15, the 14th China (Western) Electronic Information Expo Opening Ceremony and the 2026 Chengdu-Chongqing Electronic Information Industry Ecosystem Cooperation Conference opened in Chengdu High-Tech Zone. As one of the supporting events for 2026 APEC Digital Week, this year's expo features 5 themed exhibition zones covering 6 core technology tracks, with approximately 20,000 square meters of exhibition space and over 300 companies participating.

The Chengdu-Chongqing electronic information advanced manufacturing cluster has exceeded 2 trillion yuan in scale, becoming the nation's first cross-provincial national advanced manufacturing cluster, with over 2,000 above-scale electronic information manufacturing enterprises. This year's expo builds a trilateral industry platform integrating 'exhibition + high-end forums + skills competitions,' covering microwave RF, semiconductors, electronic circuits, information communications, AI, and electronic intelligent manufacturing.

A newly built all-domestic SMT assembly demonstration line and semiconductor micro-assembly demonstration line became a highlight. Concurrently, 3 professional industry skills competitions and over 10 high-level professional forums and industry events were held. The exhibition continues through July 17.
