Yangzhou High-Tech Ship and Marine Engineering Investment Promotion Signs Over 24 Billion Yuan

On July 11, China's 22th Maritime Day, Yangzhou High-Tech Ship and Marine Engineering Investment Promotion was held. 12 ship and marine engineering projects were signed with total investment exceeding 10 billion yuan; 8 ship orders were signed including 32 new vessels valued at over 14 billion yuan. Total signing amount exceeded 24 billion yuan.

Yangzhou has been focusing on precise investment promotion in the ship and marine engineering industry chain. By end of 2025, the cluster had 2 manufacturing champion products, 10 national "little giant" enterprises, and 28 provincial specialized SMEs.

In January-May, the chain achieved 21.8 billion yuan in sales (up 34% YoY) and 730 million yuan in tax (up 37% YoY).

On the same day, Shanghai's "Maritime Patrol 01" vessel opened to the public, receiving 1,240 visitors. Fuzhou held the 3rd "Fuzhou Port Open Day" art exhibition with 197 children's paintings. Zhanjiang conducted lighthouse opening and research activities.

Multiple maritime units across the country held ship openings, investment promotions, cultural performances, and navigation activities.
