On August 26, PCIM Asia Shenzhen 2026, the International Exhibition and Conference for Power Electronics and Renewable Energy Management, officially opened at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. As a premier industry trade show with years of deep engagement in the Asian market, this three-day event will run through August 28. Spanning Halls 14 and 16, the exhibition has expanded its footprint to 30,000 square meters, bringing together 271 leading domestic and international power electronics companies to comprehensively showcase cutting-edge technologies and innovative achievements across the entire industry chain. This year's event precisely focuses on three high-value application scenarios—e-mobility, AI data centers, and new energy—dedicated to facilitating high-quality upgrades and leapfrog development in the power electronics industry.

In terms of the exhibitor lineup, the event has undergone a comprehensive upgrade, featuring a brilliant convergence of industry leaders and emerging innovators. Heavyweights such as CRRC, Power Integrations, Hitachi Energy, Bosch, Toshiba, Macro Micro, China Resources Micro, Jiejie Microelectronics, and Innoscience are all present, showcasing power devices, core modules, and system solutions tailored for electric vehicles, AI data centers, wind, solar, energy storage and charging systems, industrial applications, and home appliances. Meanwhile, new forces are rapidly gathering, with a large number of high-quality emerging enterprises like StarPower Semiconductor, Nitan Technology, Orient Semiconductor, and Duplo Electronic Technology making their debut. The exhibition covers a comprehensive range of sub-sectors including power semiconductors, materials and packaging, passive components, power management, and testing and measurement. It fully builds an industry closed-loop from chip design, manufacturing and packaging, to system integration and end-use applications, demonstrating the vibrant vitality of the global power electronics industry chain.

To deeply align with high-growth application directions such as "computing-power and energy synergy," electrified transportation, and green energy, this year's exhibition has innovatively built a "3+1" three-dimensional ecosystem framework. In Hall 14, the event has meticulously created an application-oriented thematic exhibition area, breaking away from traditional display models. By organizing exhibition zones based on application scenarios and integrating an "exhibition plus conference" model, it vividly demonstrates how power electronics technologies support future industrial development. Within this hall, the "3+1" framework realizes a three-dimensional system of "setting the tone through forums, showcasing exhibits, and co-building the ecosystem," specifically establishing three hot industry zones: the AI Data Center Power Ecosystem Zone, the Electrified Transportation Industry Chain Exhibition Zone, and the Renewable and Smart Energy Zone. Additionally, a dedicated industry-academia-research exchange zone has been set up to precisely connect with cutting-edge research achievements from universities. It showcases power electronics innovative products and frontier technologies in an all-round and multi-dimensional manner, building an efficient matchmaking platform for the upstream and downstream of the industry chain.

In terms of concurrent conferences and events, the exhibition has simultaneously created a trinity content ecosystem comprising two main summits, 11 thematic forums, and 4 cooperative conferences. Driven by the dual cores of the Global Strategy Summit and the Power Semiconductor Emerging Leaders Summit, the forums have brought together authoritative institutions and leading enterprises from home and abroad, including the European Power Electronics Center, Infineon, Mitsubishi Electric, Huawei, Eaton, SiEn Integration, and Yole. Industry leaders gathered to discuss strategic topics such as industry cycle forecasting, global layout, domestic power semiconductor processes, and full-stack power supply solutions for AI data centers. The thematic forums deeply cover the frontiers of power devices such as silicon carbide, gallium nitride, IGBT, and ultra-wide bandgap semiconductors, focusing on hot application scenarios like power supply innovation for AI data centers and main drive systems for new energy vehicles. Concurrently, special sessions on packaging and testing, solid-state circuit breakers, and power-electronic power systems are also held. Statistics show that over 190 professional technical speeches run through the three-day exhibition, forming a high-density and deep knowledge matrix, presenting attendees with an academic feast rich in industry insights and development trends.

In addition, the concurrent PCIM Asia Shenzhen International Conference also kicked off simultaneously, building a high-end platform for in-depth dialogue among industry, academia, and research. Closely centered on three core research directions—"From Devices to Systems," "From Ground to Low Altitude," and "From Computing Power to Energy"—this year's conference has gathered top global expert resources and delivered a total of 131 high-quality academic reports, striving to create an annual benchmark exchange event for industry-academia-research in the power electronics field. Focusing on global hotspots such as AI computing power supplies, wide-bandgap semiconductors, new energy electric drives, smart grids, and advanced packaging of power devices, authoritative experts and scholars from top domestic universities like Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, and Hefei University of Technology, as well as industry leaders like Infineon, Mitsubishi Electric, and Delta Electronics, have gathered in Shenzhen. Through multi-dimensional and multi-level academic dialogues, the event has effectively broken down the barriers between scientific research innovation and industrial application, facilitating collaborative research on frontier technologies and the efficient transformation of research achievements.

Industry experts point out that the grand opening of PCIM Asia Shenzhen 2026 not only provides an excellent stage for global power electronics companies to showcase their latest technological achievements, but also further integrates resources across the entire power electronics industry chain. By focusing on technological breakthroughs and scenario implementation in emerging tracks, the exhibition will undoubtedly inject strong momentum into the internationalization, domestic technological upgrading, and deep integration of industry, academia, and research in China's power electronics industry, leading the global power electronics sector into a new era that is greener, smarter, and more efficient.
