From July 21 to 24, 2026, the 85th edition of Intermoda, Mexico's International Fashion Trade Show, is being held at Expo Guadalajara, bringing together over 600 exhibitors, more than 1,000 domestic and international brands and buyers, across 45,000 square meters of exhibition space.
New Intermoda Organizing Committee Chairman Jaime Barba stated in his opening address that he would push Intermoda to become the gateway for Mexican fashion talent to reach new markets. He said: "Intermoda was not built in a day - it is the result of over 40 years of sustained effort by thousands of people. Today we can proudly say that Intermoda is the most important business platform in Latin America. The next step is to let the world witness our capabilities."
Expo Guadalajara General Manager Elena Hurtado emphasized that Intermoda's impact extends beyond the exhibition halls - "It brings together buyers, exhibitors, and professionals, facilitating transactions, discovering new suppliers, and building strategic alliances. This is a space where ideas are born, knowledge is shared, and industry transformation takes place."
This edition is supported by the Guadalajara Municipal Government, the Jalisco State Government, and multiple industry organizations. The Mexican Chamber of Commerce (CCIJ) and the National Chamber of the Apparel Industry (CANAIVE) emphasized at the opening ceremony the need for strengthened collaboration among businesses, designers, and the government in innovation, sustainability, and competitiveness. Intermoda 85 covers the entire industry chain including apparel, fabrics, leather, and footwear, making it the most influential B2B platform for the fashion industry in Latin America.
